WYOMING – With days to go before the November six Midterm General Election, Secretarial assistant of State Edward Buchanan is encouraging voters to cast a ballot on Election Day and reminding Wyoming residents that if they did not vote during the 2016 Full general Election or are not registered to vote, that they may register to vote on Election Twenty-four hours.

"Wyoming was the first state to allow aforementioned-24-hour interval voter registration. Voters in Wyoming have flexibility in choosing when to register and vote, so there is no alibi not to vote," said Secretary of Land Edward Buchanan. "My office and Wyoming'due south county clerks work to ensure that the registration process is understandable, easy to navigate, transparent, and secure. The steps to register to vote on Election Day or any other day are conspicuously laid out in both Wyoming law and in federal law through the Assist America Vote Human action. Wyoming's law allows Wyoming residents to register and vote on Election Twenty-four hour period if they provide a valid Wyoming commuter's license.
